The product is as described and meets our needs. I have some improvements. The knots need to be bigger. They pull thru the whole. When we try the push the unit open the line get caught on the hook that holds the cross bar. One suggestion. When taking the unit up and down Maybe add a small strap to each side to gather the lines of each side. I bought a large twistee type thing that should work.

Had a difficult time opening it at first. Each time after that, it got a bit easier. The lines are taut and laundry fits nicely on the lines. I think I did 4 loads of wash yesterday and they all fit on the dryer!

I LOVE this outdoor dryer!! My first one lasted 15+ years and the plastic finally disintegrated from too much sun??, I ordered a replacement within days. We live in a suburban area of the south and I have this on my deck from spring to late fall. I put most ALL our wet laundry, area rugs, sheets and blankets out to dry in the sun, we rarely turn on the dryer for those 6-7 months. The base pole fits perfectly in our iron patio table (that we’ve had for 37 years), and the laundry basket sits on the table top—how simple is that? I can’t say enough about the quality, ease of use and durability of this fabulous product, not to mention the cost savings on our utilities and helping the environment.
