How low is low lighting?
Soehnle's Solar Scales work in low lighting. Lighting is measured using Lux, the SI unit for illumination. It is equivalent to one lumen per square meter.
To put this in context, a well-lit room is approximately 300 lux; a sunny day--in the sun--is 32,000-100,000 lux; and the full moon on a clear night is 0.27-1.0 lux. Soehnle's Solar Scales work under conditions as low as 50 lux.
