Get Inspired.
Get design inspiration from your favorite home-good online stores, blogs, or influencers. You can find some solid inspiration on Pinterest or Instagram. We recommend Pinterest because it easy to create a board and start pinning your inspirations all in one board. Design your Space and Establish your Theme
Once you have solidified a budget, its time to start piecing together the theme for your patio. This is where your Pinterest board will come in handy. Ask yourself some questions while you are designing the space and pin the images that resonate with your answers. Is this design proportional to your home?
Do you want to add a Gazebo or will that be overkill?
What type of lighting would you like to incorporate?
What sort of textures would you like to have? Stone, wood, burlap, wicker?
Are you going more for that rustic, woody look or that beachy, vibrant look?
What kind of plants would compliment your theme the best?
What kind of outdoor furniture would you like?
Our recommendation for outdoor furniture is Wicker Furniture because it is extremely durable and long-lasting. Check out our blog post on What is Wicker and What is it Made From. It is quite fascinating!

Purchase the Goods!
Now its time to go shopping. With your design plan in hand, you can start piecing together the patio’s look based on the design decisions you made in your plan. Depending on how elaborate you want your patio space to be and on your budget, you may need to hire a Builder to help with the more complex projects. Here are some of our recommendations that could be useful as you put together your dream Patio Space:

Our Black and Natural Large Woven Basket is perfect for holding magazines and books for reading outside.

The Two-Toned Wicker Waste Basket would be a great addition to the rustic, woody patio theme.

Serve wine, bread, and cheese using our hand-woven long Wicker basket and Square Ceramic Pizza Stone
